Guangzhou City is located in south-east of China. It is the Capital City of Guangdong Province and it has a population of 12 million people. Guangzhou also is named Flower City because people who live in there love all kinds of flowers and it is famous for its flower market and its wonderful variety of food.
Guangzhou is a lively city. It is going to host 2010 Asian Games. It has modern sports buildings and good public basic facilities. Otherwise, it also has more than 2800 years history and it is the first city opening door to outside world in 1978 in China. So it has lots of historical ancient remains.

The Five Rams Statue
Guangzhou is nicknamed the City of Five Rams. This name comes from a beautiful legend. Now the Five Rams Statue is located in Yuexiu Park.
Western Han Nanyue King's Tomb Museum
It is one of the 80 famous museums in the world. The museum covers 14,000 square meters and the owner of the tomb is the second king, Zhao Mei of Nanyue State of the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-24 A.D.).
Eating in Guangzhou
Cantonese cuisine is good in colour, fragrance, taste and presentation and it is also among the most famous four in the country. In Guangzhou, you can go to Yumcha from 6am in the morning to 2am in the evening.
