FIFA 2010

The 2010 FIFA World Cup matches are being held in South Africa. As football is the most popular sport in the world, to watch the World Cup has become one kind of life. Some people also think that the joys and sorrows of the football fans are more wonderful than the matches.

There is a very funny thing in South Africa. People find that South Africa's team member always sing their national anthem seriously at the beginning, then they keep silent from the half to the end. It doesn't mean that they aren't patriotic, just because their national anthem probably is the most difficult anthem in the world. There are eleven official languages in South Africa and the anthem involves five of the official languages. Therefore, most South Africans can't sing the whole national anthem at all. It is really interesting, isn't it?

My Favourite Singer

Celine Dion is one of my most favourite singer. She is a Canadian and I heard her sing from the movie "Titanic". I liked the song "My Heart Will Go On" and bought one of her albums. I did enjoy to listen her songs.

Celine's husband Rene was diagnosed with throat cancer in 1999. She stopped all of her work and stayed at home to look after him untill he was cured. Now Celine has achieved her childhood's dream which is to be a supper star.

One of my classmates also likes Celine's songs. He thinks that she has a nice vioce and she sings very clear and her songs are full of emotion.

Little Healthy Lifestyle Tips

Every one wants to have a healthier and longer life. How can we achieve these goals? I think we can do many things.

Firstly, we should be optimistic and try our best to reduce stress. I believe a healthy lifestyle is the most important thing to have a happy life. If we always think live is too tough, then our lives will be really hard.

Secondly, a healthy diet is also very important. We should eat more vegetables and fruit, less meat, sugar and alcohol and smoking is not good. If you have unhealthy habits, don't worry, you can change them step by step.
Thirdly, we should insist on doing exercise every day. For example, we can walk at least half an hour after dinner or we can go swimming two or three days a week. If possible walk everywhere, don't drive your car.

I believe everyone knows many healthy lifestyle tips, just start to do the right thing.

Easter Holiday

In the Easter Holiday I just stayed at home. I went shopping on Easter Monday because all of the Easter’s chocolate would have 50% discount. I bought lots of chocolate eggs and rabbits because they were very lovely and delicious. I loved them so much! I thought the beautiful chocolate would be a fantastic gift for the child. So I gave most of them to my mother because she will go back to China in May. I hoped she could have these cute gifts to her friends which lived in China.

One of my classmates moved his home in the holiday. We went to help him and did a hard work in that whole day. Eventhough we all felt very tired we were still happy. In the meantime, he gave a set of car seat cover to us and we just desided to buy one in that morning. It was really coincident.

Last Friday I have interviewed my classmate Ni Hlcing about obesity. She thinks that people will be overweight if they eat too much junk food in their life. In her country Burma, the problem of obesity isn’t a serious phenomenon. Maybe just a few women are obese. People may have some healthy problem because of obesity. Such as high blood pressure, heart disease and so on. So they shall pay higher medical charges for their disease.

Ni Hlcing thinks that goverments should make some law to combat obesity. And parents should find more time to take care of their kids and stop their children from becoming obese. She also thinks that obesity isn’t immoral when so many people in the world are starving, because there are different situations in different countries.
