Last Friday I have interviewed my classmate Ni Hlcing about obesity. She thinks that people will be overweight if they eat too much junk food in their life. In her country Burma, the problem of obesity isn’t a serious phenomenon. Maybe just a few women are obese. People may have some healthy problem because of obesity. Such as high blood pressure, heart disease and so on. So they shall pay higher medical charges for their disease.

Ni Hlcing thinks that goverments should make some law to combat obesity. And parents should find more time to take care of their kids and stop their children from becoming obese. She also thinks that obesity isn’t immoral when so many people in the world are starving, because there are different situations in different countries.

Chinese New Year

Last two weeks it has been Chinese New Year, the Spring Festival. In my hometown Guangzhou city, we have got some flower markets in every district to celebrate the Spring Festival for three days in advance. We build beautiful archway in front of the flower markets and decorate with colourful lights. Guangzhou city is also called the city of flower as we love flowers and we also believe that flowers can bring good luck to us. So we buy many flowers, such as daffodils, peach blossoms, orchids, little tangerine trees and so on.
People always bless each other during the Spring Festival. The married people should give lucky money to the children and the single people to give all the best wishes to them.
The Chinese New Year Festival finishes at the day of the 15th of the first lunar month.

Stay Away From the Junk Food

At present junk food has flooded the fastfood and snack market because it is convenient and tasty. However, as we know, junk food is not healthy for people, especially for children.

Government and many other organizations have been trying to solve this problem. From my point of view, firstly, we should do more public advertising to let all parents pay attention to this problem. Thus, they should not spoil their children and give them too much junk food. Secondly, we should talk to the children about the disadvantage of the junk food and ask them to stay healthy. Thirdly, maybe we could provide healthier and more delicious snacks, fastfood and beverages to replace the junk food.
To sum up, let's stay away from the junk food !
